Hey, did you know that there are castles in Doylestown?

“Castles,” plural. They are the Mercer Museum, which was built to be a museum, and the Fonthill Castle, which was once the house of Henry Chapman Mercer. And by house, I mean that it is a goddamn castle (from the website: “…the building is an eclectic mix of Medieval, Gothic, and Byzantine architectural styles…”). A castle. In Doylestown. And there are tours.

I know what I’m doing this weekend.
