I may be late in posting this, since I didn’t see the movie in theaters.
Adult Swim is airing Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Colon Movie for Theaters tonight, which I believe is the first time it’s been aired on TV since the April Fool Day during its theater run, where it was aired on Adult Swim on mute incredibly tiny at the bottom corner of the screen.
Anyway, being a night owl I’ve watched this show a lot. I’ve always assumed that the show was set in New Jersey, as the first few minutes of the show (with the professor and his assistant), take place at the Jersey shore.
Only a few minutes ago, the scene changed to the “monster” attacking “downtown”. And downtown was an animated shot of a sky line I know very well, with two very buildings I’ve seen almost every day of my life. These buildings:
So, Aqua Teen is actually set in the Philly suburbs? Weird.
